i dont expect any thing different from this budget...the same old cuts and taxes...the rich will get richer and the poor poorer -
Would like to see a fair budget, but sadly I doubt that will be the case.

would it be too much to ask what the folks getting 100% value on anglo bonds paid for them, they changed hands multiple times when this crisis started and at a fraction of face value, FG is giving these guys profit margins in 1000% range!!

Hope there is no changes in income tax rates or bands. Property tax is going to be a killer for most people. Will be interesting to see how this will be collected. Cant see the same happening as the Household Charge.

In previous years, people used to use the word 'dread' when referring to the Budget, now the word is 'fear'. It tells you a lot about where people are financially right now

They are going to kill haulier business all over the country if they continue increasing fuel costs. I can barely afford to Drive to work these days as it stands. Ministers with free cars and travel allowances don't understand or care

If the government put up road tax even more, i'm buying a smaller 1.2. So instead of getting €1,683, they'll be getting €307 off me. So they'll be down €1,376 plus whatever i save on fuel! When are they going to learn that by raising taxes, they'll end up getting less revenue.!!

So sad that our everyday live's are filled with fear and dread as to how we will pay bills and feed kids and it will only be worse by this evening..nothing to look forward to in life anymore..

Am poorly paid in a job that is costing all my monthly wages to get to everyday. Cannot afford any more tax rises. Cannot afford a newer car so am on old tax bands, but no other way to get to work. Stuck in a complete Catch 22 situation - can't afford to work and can't afford to not work. Am well-qualified with good experience - 30 years old and seeing a seriously bleak future ahead. Why, why, why can't they hit the better off (including themselves)? Why is it the same old tired line every time - "it's "fair"". No it's not. It never is.
