Franklins Gardens looks full for tonights game, I think it could be the game of the weekend!
Ireland's new star Craig Gilroy is on the bench as Andrew Trimble is preferred to him but look to Gilroy to make as big impact later on as legs start to tire!
And we are underway as Ulster take the kick off will and Pienaar finds touch.
1' Good turnover from Ulster inside their own half to force a scrum but they give away the free kick for early engagement and Hartley calls for the scrum.
3' Penalty to Northampton as Ulster don't roll away at the breakdown but Lamb misses.
5' Bit scrappy now as both teams start a kicking fest.
6' Some big hits from Henderson and Trimble pinned inside their own half.
7' Pienaar turns down a very kickable penalty to tap and go and Ulster end up losing it two plays later maybe should have kicked!
TRY! For Connacht as Vainikolo runs the length of the field on a breakaway. 7-3 to Connacht!
9' TRY! For Ulster, A good drive at the maul brought Ulster close to the try line and a perfect dink kick from Jackson made its way to Trimble who touched down well. The TMO give his decision quickly. Jackson missed the conversion from the touchline!
Score update: Northampton 0 Ulster 5.
12' Lamb misses yet another penalty after some good work from the forwards with the driving maul. The penalty was very kickable, Lamb is looking very nervous!
15' Penalty for Ulster, Jackson has a tester on a cold night from near halfway, but he misses as well. It had the length but missed to the right hand side of the uprights.
Wind is playing havoc at the Sportsground as 3 penalties have been missed inside 20 minutes 2 from Yachvili and 1 from Parks.
21' Penalty at the scrum leads to Northampton's Lamb nailing a kick from halfway to convert a stunning penalty.
Score Update: Northampton Saints 3 Ulster 5.
23' Jackson hits right back as some good work at the restart so Ulster rewarded with a penalty. Jackson was calm after 2 early misses.
Score Update: Northampton Saints 3 Ulster 8.
Sides have traded scores at the Sportsground, a Yachvili penalty was cancelled out by a drop goal from Parks.
27' Lamb misses again from the left side, these misses are really hurting Northampton.
29' Danger here as Paddy Jackson is dragged over the try line for a 5 metre scrum but Ulster respond heroically dismantling the Northampton scrum to win a penalty and clear their lines!
30' As Fiona say Chris Henry is showing the form that saw him called up to the international fold with some stunning tackling.
33' TRY! Bowe, Ulster cut Northampton wide open after a great kick to the corner to Payne. The men from the North worked the ball from left to right and Bowe nearly walked over the try line.
