The Women's marathon is up at 11 with the Dublin trio of Linda Byrne, Ava Huthinson and Caitriona Jennings. Also at 11 Cian O'Connor and Billy Twomey start the second round of the qualifiers in show jumping while Derek Burnett will start his second round in the men's trap shooting.

On the course for the marathon, rain is teeming down
That thunder mentioned earlier has led to a massive downpour. Been raining since about 10:45 and already it's sodden underfoot, big puddles.

Linda Byrne, Ava Hutchinson and Caitriona Jennings are the three in the marathon for Ireland. They're not in the lead group of 20.
Cian O'Connor is up in a couple of jumpers' time.

It'll affect their times undoubtedly but I find I normally run faster in the rain.
