Hey guys I'm in the Aviva Stadium as we speak. Heading up to my seat now.
Teams on the pitch seems like a good crowd!
The RTE front row of Hook, Pope and O'Shea aren't pulling any punches when it comes to the Irish backline pointing out that tries have been at a premium for Kidney's men of late, only 1 in their last three Test matches.
Sexton kicks off at the Aviva, a huge Test underway for Ireland.
Kick out on the full from Sexton, not the start Ireland needed.
Mistake by Sexton to start with as the kick off goes out on the full.
1' Ireland scrum held well but Argentina in possession and they get the penalty at the breakdown.
2' The Pumas are masters at the breakdown and it has given them an opening chance at 3 points, Sanchez to kick at goal.
Kick hits post and Sexton clears, Ireland survive.
Penalty was for being off their feet Sanchez with a chance to open the scoring but he strikes the post.
5' penalty to Ireland for a high tackle, too far for a kick at goal Shaun?
Well Ian a solid start from the scrum and a good attacking platform from here.
Yes Shaun but once again the lineout didn't function well, lucky to get the free kick, lets see if there's any invention in the backline.
New man Gilroy has started very well.
7' Zebo knocks on after a promising move, disappointing for Ireland but promising stuff early on.
Ireland seem to be forcing it a bit for me.
ya a couple knock-ons from Zebo but the passes didn't help on ether occasion. may be forcing it Shaun but after offering so little in attack in the last few matches they need to try and get those offloads going and not let the Pumas dominate the breakdown.
11' TRY GILROY!! Dream debut, 5-0 Ireland.
Score update: TRY! Ireland 5 Argentina 0. Gilroy 11'.
Fantastic stepping from the Ulster wing, he made fools of the Pumas tacklers, what a star this young man could be.
Score update: Ireland 7 Argentina 0. Sexton Con 12'.
12' 7-0 Sexton adds the conversion.
13' penalty to the Pumas for blocking at the restart, stupid penalty to concede after a great score.
Just as I say Ireland were forcing it a lovely little inside pop pass by Sexton released the new man Gilroy who showed wonderful feet to beat two men and cross the try line. Wonderful start for him in a green shirt!
Sanchez makes no mistake with his second kick score is 7-3 to Ireland after 14 minutes
Stupid penalty to concede straight after scoring and it was an easy task from Sanchez to slot the penalty.
Score Update: TRY! Sexton 16'. Ireland 12 Argentina 3.
Gilroy heavily involved again, great break off the lineout and lovely hands to find Sexton who did extremely well to make it to the line, excellent start from Ireland but poor defense from the Pumas.
Score: 14-3 to Ireland, Sexton converts his own try.
Strikingly similar try to Ireland's opener, Gilroy made great ground and the ball came to D'Arcy who released it at the perfect time from the ground to Sexton who like Gilroy beat two men to touchdown. What a start by Ireland!
Score update: Ireland 14 Argentina 3. Sexton Con 18'.
18' Ireland a penalty yet again at the restart, ref said Earls never released player, for me he was the second man in and entitled to challenge for the ball.
Sanchez kicks the points, Ireland 14 Argentina 6 after 20 mins.
Again Ireland give away a silly penalty after scoring for not releasing after the tackle. Rightly or wrongly Sanchez knocks it over.
