At the Liberty Stadium, Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has elected to stick with the same starting XI that beat West Ham as his side looks to go top of the Barclays Premier League with victory over Sunderland.
New signing Ki Sung-yueng has to make do with a place on the bench, with striker Itay Shechter also among the substitutes after getting clearance to complete his loan move from Kaiserslautern.
Sunderland boss Martin O’Neill has handed Premier League debuts to striker Steven Fletcher and winger Adam Johnson, with the big-money signings having made their Black Cats’ bows in the midweek win over Morecambe.
